In what way is that good?

Paqueta to spuds? Good
09 Jan 2026 19:12:51
In what way is that good?
09 Jan 2026 16:40:57
We're apparently looking at the Spurs Czech keeper, Kinksky 🤷
09 Jan 2026 16:14:24
LEO PEREIRA, Flamengo Cb good luck WH with another player that's highly priced
Now he's said no twice, that's enough
ORTEGA, fair enough decent Gk, getting no game time at City, nothing wrong with this IF he will come
EARTHY, had an about turn, returning to Bristol City, instead of his original choice Middlesborough, getting* in good championship time before next season
09 Jan 2026 18:34:25
Ortega is decent i'd have him
08 Jan 2026 19:02:56
Having off loaded Johnson to palace and kudus out till at least April, Spuds are very interested in jarred bowen.
What price i wonder?
08 Jan 2026 21:29:09
They won't sell him to spurs in this window, the summer however he will go
09 Jan 2026 11:44:32
Despite how much we love him, his transfer market valuation is only about £40 million I believe.
09 Jan 2026 15:41:47
Transfermarkt have him at £35m, which usually equates to about a third or sometimes even half of the real world price. Depends which League we're in come May I guess. The difference being around £40m in the Championship or £70-80m for a PL, full international.
He is on a very lengthy contract though, so that will help a bit I suppose. Well, until he flings in a transfer request anyway.
09 Jan 2026 15:56:19
Surely there's another club out there, who pay something similar to the inflated prices Sullivan is always willing to pay? Man Utd for example.
09 Jan 2026 16:19:07
Has he got some sort of release clause on his contract. We should hold out to get the right money like wolves did to us regarding calamity killman
09 Jan 2026 16:32:48
My guess is we wouldn’t get more than about £60 million tops for him, no matter what league we’re in.
09 Jan 2026 16:44:29
NOT A NORMAL MARKET, that’s the problem, if as and when we are relegated
Just refer back to 2003, this will be a rerun save the names being different
It has little to do with WH, as the players with relegation clauses ( most all of them ) , are legally entitled to demand a move and probably
Will want out reasonably quickly, to sort out their own futures
All buyers know this, as WH need to get these people gone, well before first Saturday in August, when championship kicks off!
If Bowen was in fine form, and it was a normal window transfer, I think there would be customers around £70 m mark, why not?
But in a fire sale scenario, £40 m Might have to be acceptable?
08 Jan 2026 15:27:34
I see Bento is going to Genoa.
08 Jan 2026 16:04:13
Genoa is Italys hot spot for both emerging talent, and a jumping off point for players that see themselves at bigger clubs
Anybody not coming to WH, can you really blame them?
07 Jan 2026 13:00:07
DAYANNE METHALIE, another Toulouse defender, youngster, under WH scrutiny, decent prospect especially for championship WH May make 7 m euro bid
DISASI, lot of WH interest especially, because getting nowhere with Cresswell pursuit
BUT does he want to go into the championship
The Chelsea player, is way ahead of Kilman, but then who isn't?
07 Jan 2026 17:37:04
I appreciate it’s an opinion based thing but just been reading on another forum and 2 out of 3 comments said this player Disasi is exactly the same as Killman error prone lacks concentration etc etc
I know nothing about him
{Ed001's Note - he has the nickname 'Disaster' because of all his mistakes.}
07 Jan 2026 18:34:29
Matter of opinions, as you say
Disasi is no star, but he can head the ball, Kilman?
But I don’t see him Dropping to the championship,
I don’t see him at WH anyway at the moment, there’s other options
08 Jan 2026 08:10:49
Agree, I think his ego won't allow him to come to WH, but that will be a blessing in disguise - Disasi is not an improvment on Kilman.
06 Jan 2026 17:20:33
STRANGE, News,
Wolves have contacted WH, to see if they are still interested in Strand Larsen !
Wolves we're expecting a bun fight, for their strikers services, which has so far, failed to materialise
WH have said they will look at it again, depending on their situation, end of January
Sullivan started the season with NO proper strikers, that was ridiculous, now we have the prospect of 3 strikers!
Just crazy, but can't see it happening
06 Jan 2026 18:09:46
Wolves sound desperate to get rid so offer them a ridiculously low price 🤷
06 Jan 2026 18:35:47
We can tell them they can have Killman back for free
06 Jan 2026 19:07:57
Considering the money we've just found down the back of the sofa. A proven premier league goal scorer may have been a better option than the 2 inflated price gambles we've just taken, especially considering "super" NES will be gone at the end of the season. if not the end of the month.
07 Jan 2026 05:02:43
We had a proven premiership striker in Wilson, who Nuno didn’t play. Knowing West Ham he’ll sign for Forest or Leeds and scores a hatful.
07 Jan 2026 10:23:12
He was barely able to play 90 mins once a week.
07 Jan 2026 13:55:30
Think Wolves were on a wind up with that one.
06 Jan 2026 14:04:49
Oxford have contacted WH, re George Earthy they are trying for a loan of some kind, but if the price is right they will buy
Not one WH were expecting
06 Jan 2026 14:49:33
Another short sighted bad move that would be to sell. Just like Guilherme
06 Jan 2026 10:10:30
WH, have last night made an offer for Oscar MINGUEZA of Celta ( amount believed to be 8 m euro ).
However, I now understand, Newcastle, have topped it, both in sum and wages offered.
Apparently Villa have also spoken to the player , and have offered him a 5 year contract, if he comes to them asa free agent in June.
This leaves WH on the back foot at present
06 Jan 2026 09:14:39
Hearing Paqueta to be sold in Jan. He wants a return to his homeland but so far only interested party there wants a loan with option. Also interest from Milan and Juventus but again they don't seem to want to put the money forward for him.
Personally not a fan of him as i hate the showboating and the amount of times he loses the ball but the next 6 months i reckon he will play well to try make the brazil squad for world cup. So i would keep him. Play centrally with a double pivot behind of fernandes/magassa/potts (2 of 3 then you get 1 from the bench too)
06 Jan 2026 11:06:52
Unlikely Sullivan will buy more players, without selling some, it’s just who and when ?
